Hello Sonic Saturn family,
Thank you for your continued patience and support. We know the wait has been longer than expected, and we apologize for the lack of communication since January. We’ve heard the growing frustration, and we should have kept you updated more regularly. That’s on us, and we’re committed to being more transparent moving forward.
Here’s where things currently stand:
The good news: All single-issue comics are now completely finished and printed. They look excellent and capture the story exactly as we envisioned.
Current status: We are still awaiting completion of the softcover and hardcover editions, as well as several secondary products (stickers, variant covers, bonus items, etc.). There are many moving pieces involved in this final production stage like coordinating between multiple printers, specialty finishes, quality control, and logistics. Sadly, each step is taking more time than anticipated.
We’ve made the deliberate choice to move carefully rather than rush, especially with the premium finishes like the gilded edges on the hardcover, to ensure the final products meet the quality you deserve. No rewards have been canceled or changed, and every single order will still be fulfilled, its just a matter of time.
We are actively working with all vendors to push things forward as quickly as possible while maintaining those standards. We don’t have a firm shipping date to share right now, but will send another update as soon as we have concrete milestones to report (such as sample approvals or a confirmed completion window).
Thank you again for sticking with us. We truly appreciate this community and remain fully committed to delivering Sonic Saturn at the level it was meant to be.

Hello Sonic Saturn family!
Thank you for your continued patience and support. We wanted to share a clear status update and a word from Anthony on where things currently stand.
The good news first, everything is still in the print process and moving forward. All creative work remains complete, and the vast majority of the project has progressed exactly as planned. We did, however, encounter a hiccup specifically with the gilded edges on the hardcover edition. That particular finishing process did not meet our quality standards at the original printer. Because of this, the printer will not begin the final production run until we give full approval on the gilded edges. To resolve this, we made the decision to sub out the gilding portion to a new printer who specializes in this type of work.
This approval step is what has slowed things down slightly. Once the gilded edge samples are approved, printing will resume immediately. While this added an extra step to the timeline, it is a small hurdle and ensures that the final product lives up to what was promised, and what you deserve.
To be clear,
All books are still being produced,
No rewards are being canceled or changed,
Every order will be fulfilled.
This adjustment only affects the finishing stage of the hardcover and does not impact the overall completion of the project, only the timing.
We truly appreciate everyone sticking with us as we work through the final stages. We remain fully committed to delivering Sonic Saturn at the quality level it was meant to have, and we will continue to keep you updated as fulfillment gets closer.

Hello Sonic Saturn family!
We apologize for the delay in updates; it’s been a busy few months. We should have communicated with you sooner.
We want to share some exciting progress: half of our order is currently with the printers, and we are submitting the remaining items for print tonight. All creative work is complete, though we did make some adjustments to the layout for printing.
We assure you that this project will be fully finished and delivered to everyone who has placed an order. To avoid further delays, we had to finalize all orders on Backerkit after multiple attempts to reach everyone.
Now, all final counts are in, and everything is either in print or under review for print.

Hello, amazing backers!
We wanted to send out a final reminder that the deadline to submit your information through Backerkit is this week! We will be locking all orders on Monday, so please make sure you've completed your submissions by then (still waiting on a few). Once we finalize everything, we’ll be moving forward with printing your rewards. We are very excited to get everything in.
As a heads up, a final charge for any order changes and shipping costs will be applied once we’re ready to ship. Thank you for your understanding and support throughout this process!

The Sonic Saturn pledge manager through BackerKit will be live in the coming days! 🎉 This is where you'll finalize your shipping info, confirm your rewards, and have one last chance to grab any extras.
We've been working closely with BackerKit to fix a small shipping bug that affected poster orders—specifically, it wasn’t allowing posters to be bundled with the rest of your shipment. The good news: BackerKit is on it, and that issue is nearly resolved.
Once everything is good to go, we’ll let you know immediately so you can jump in and complete your survey.
